  • Makhinjauri

  • Sarpi

Sarpi - a village in Georgia, in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Khelvachauri Municipality, community center (village Sarpi). Located on the banks of the river Tobash. The village is connected to the city of Poti by E70, S2 road of  international importance. Sarpi is located on the border of Georgia and Turkey, there is a customs checkpoint in the village. The resort infrastructure has developed over the last decade.

Border resort town-Sarpi is located 20 km from Batumi. The territory of Turkey can already be seen from here.

The mountain ridges here are as close to the sea as possible. The beach is not so big, but it is the only place in Adjara where you can jump off a cliff into the sea.

Sarpi - this is a place where the old Georgian ethnos-Laz live, who still preserve their ancient culture and language.

There is a border checkpoint in Sarpi, after which you can get to Turkey on foot or by car.
